Embracing the Electric Frontier: The Adventurous Mini Countryman SE ALL4
The automotive landscape has reached a new milestone with the introduction of the all-electric Mini Countryman SE ALL4, a robust crossover model that combines versatility, environmental consciousness, and all-terrain capability. As Mini’s latest foray into the electric vehicle market, this model represents a significant leap in sustainable automotive technology while staying true to its adventurous spirit.
With its ALL4 all-wheel-drive system, the Mini Countryman SE ALL4 offers exceptional traction across various terrains, ensuring a smooth and reliable drive. This feature, coupled with an electric range of up to 433 kilometers per the WLTP test cycle, makes it an ideal vehicle for those seeking adventure without leaving a carbon footprint.
The design of the Mini Countryman SE ALL4 reflects its versatile character. Its dimensions, now at 4,433 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width, and 1,656 mm in height, make it the largest model in the Mini lineup. This growth in size translates into a spacious interior, with a capacity of up to 1,450 liters for cargo, ensuring that it meets the needs of families and adventurers alike.
Stefanie Wurst, head of Mini, expresses pride in this new model, highlighting its role as the first Mini “Made in Germany.” Its increased dimensions and powerful performance make it a family-friendly vehicle without compromising on Mini’s traditional driving pleasure.
The heart of the Mini Countryman SE ALL4 lies in its twin electric motors, delivering a combined power of 230 kW/313 hp and 494 Nm of torque. This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. The 66.45 kWh battery pack supports rapid charging, allowing the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes using DC charging at up to 130 kW.
For convenience, the Mini's app enables users to optimize and monitor the charging process. Further enhancing user experience, the vehicle can be pre-conditioned to a desired temperature by the time of departure. A new addition to the charging system is the Plug & Charge feature, which simplifies the process at compatible public charging stations.
Driving Assistant Professional brings partially automated Level 2 driving capabilities to the Mini Countryman SE ALL4 for the first time, enhancing safety and convenience on motorway-like routes. The vehicle's design is both functional and aesthetic, with features like aerodynamically optimized 20-inch light-alloy wheels, a drag coefficient of 0.26, and distinctive LED lights that enhance its appearance and efficiency.
Inside, the Mini Countryman SE ALL4 boasts advanced technology and high-quality materials. The centerpiece is a round OLED display that controls both infotainment and assistance systems. The Mini Operating System 9 ensures intuitive operation through touch or voice commands. The redesigned interior, with additional shoulder and elbow room, offers comfort and elegance, complemented by the panoramic glass roof and four different trim variants.
The Mini Countryman SE ALL4 is not just a step forward for Mini as a brand; it's a leap into the future of electric mobility. It perfectly encapsulates the spirit of adventure and environmental responsibility, all packaged in a vehicle that is as stylish as it is practical.
This autumn Mini also unveilied the 2025 Mini Cooper E & SE at Munich Motor Show. Looks like one of Mini's vehicles has all the chances to make it to the top 10 Best AWD Electric Vehicles next year.
