Xiaomi electric car, SU7, a electric full-size sedan, has been officially unveiled as Xiaomi's first venture into the electric vehicle market. The SU7 Max boasts a rapid acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in just 2.78 seconds, outperforming the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan. It also offers a range of up to 497 miles. The vehicle includes innovative features such as air suspension, an active shutter grille, an adaptive rear wing, and a world-leading low drag coefficient of 0.195. It also features a state-of-the-art infotainment system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, running on HyperOS, and the Xiaomi Pilot advanced driver-assistance system.
Xiaomi's Modena EV architecture supports a variety of battery sizes, including a 73.6 kWh battery from BYD and a 101 kWh battery from CATL for the SU7 Max. Sales of Xiaomi electric car, the SU7, are expected to start in early 2024 in China, although prices are yet to be announced. According to statistics, the vehicle is anticipated to be priced between $27,000 to $43,000 approximately.
