VinFast VF Wild Concept Presented at CES 2024
In Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 9, 2024, at the CES 2024 event, VinFast Auto, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam, revealed their latest innovation - the VF Wild electric vehicle concept. This marks VinFast's initial foray into the pickup truck market, showcasing their dedication to expanding their product range. The VF Wild represents VinFast's commitment to sustainable mobility, aiming to make electric vehicles that are smart, safe, and exciting, accessible to all.
The VF Wild concept exemplifies VinFast's groundbreaking approach in the electric vehicle sector, especially in developing a pickup truck that upholds top-notch performance, long-lasting durability, and eco-consciousness. This vehicle distinguishes itself within the mid-size pickup category, measuring a substantial 209 inches in length and 79 inches in width. It offers a versatile bed size that can expand from 5 to 8 feet, setting a new standard for bed space in its class. Furthermore, it incorporates extra features such as a power-folding mid-gate, a panoramic glass roof, and advanced digital side mirrors to further enhance its practicality and aerodynamic efficiency.
VinFast embarked on a highly productive collaboration with the distinguished Australian design studio Gomitiv to breathe life into the VF Wild, dedicating a substantial span of over 8,000 hours and enlisting the expertise of numerous exceptionally skilled designers to meticulously craft the unique "Fluid Dynamism" aesthetic—a truly outstanding hallmark of this groundbreaking concept. The selection of the name "Wild" aptly mirrors VinFast's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and their resolute dedication to a sustainable and environmentally conscious future. Ms. Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO overseeing Sales and Marketing at VinFast Global, conveyed her profound sense of pride in the VF Wild concept.
