Expanding Horizons: VinFast Sales Locations Set to Triple Across the U.S.
In a significant move to broaden its reach in the U.S. electric vehicle market, VinFast Auto announced at Electrify Expo 2023 its plans to expand across the U.S. with over 70 dealer applications already received. This announcement marks a pivotal moment in VinFast's strategic expansion, with the company expecting to distribute its EVs through 125 points of sales nationwide.
VinFast's commitment to making electric vehicles more accessible is evident in its plan to operate hundreds of VinFast sales locations by the end of 2024, which includes its existing showrooms. For 2023, the focus is on the distribution of the VF 8 models through its extensive distribution network. This network will further expand with the launch of the VF 9, VF 6, and VF 7 models. All customers who purchase or lease VinFast electric vehicles will benefit from the company's generous aftersales policies, including a 10-year/125,000-mile vehicle warranty and a 10-year unlimited mileage battery warranty under non-commercial use.
To support its expanding network, VinFast’s Parts Distribution Centers are equipped to fulfill orders from all regional markets, including the U.S. These centers are ready to support dealer requests efficiently, ensuring high standards of repair and maintenance services for VinFast customers, regardless of the distribution method.
Moreover, VinFast is setting up Pop-up Mobile Test drives in Austin, Texas, and other targeted cities and states, providing local customers with hands-on trials of VinFast EVs. This initiative will further increase the visibility of VinFast sales locations and enhance customer engagement.
Steve Tran, CEO of VinFast North America, emphasized the company's mission to make EVs accessible to everyone. "VinFast is dedicated to expanding its business network and providing consumers with premium quality electric vehicles, attainable prices, and outstanding aftersales services," said Tran. The collaboration with dealers will help VinFast shorten the time to market and swiftly meet the needs of U.S. customers.
Looking ahead, VinFast intends to establish broad distribution channels, leveraging local networks and the expertise of third-party dealerships. The Company aims to mark its presence in up to 50 global markets by the end of 2024, showcasing its commitment to expanding VinFast sales locations and enhancing its global footprint in the EV market.
This spring VinFast has officially entered the North American market by delivering its first 45 VF 8 City Edition all-electric SUVs to customers in California, where the company operates nine stores and offers delivery either at these locations or through a home-delivery service.
