Lexus is providing a significant discount on its new electric SUV, the 2023 Lexus RZ 450e, shortly after its US debut. The automaker is offering lease cash incentives of up to $10,000 for the electric vehicle.
The RZ 450e, unveiled in April, is the company's first all-electric model based on Toyota's e-TNGA platform. While sharing a platform with Toyota's bZ4X and Subaru Solterra, the electric RZ boasts a unique design both inside and out.
Equipped with a 71.4 kWh battery, the Lexus RZ offers a range of up to 220 miles and delivers 308 horsepower through its Direct4 AWD system. This combination results in a dynamic and agile driving experience, enhancing acceleration, handling, and stability.
Lexus aims to redefine its design language with the RZ as it embraces electric vehicles. Notably, the traditional Lexus spindle grille has been replaced with a sleek "Spindle Body" design, optimizing aerodynamics and proportions.
Inside, the RZ features a minimalist and spacious design, offering luxurious amenities such as a 14-inch touchscreen with Lexus Interface, a panoramic sunroof, Mark Levinson premium surround sound, and an optional 10-inch head-up display.
The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e is available in two trims: Premium and Luxury, with prices starting at $59,650 and $65,150, respectively.
However, Lexus is now providing additional lease incentives. Through the end of the month, customers in select US states, including AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY, can benefit from up to $10,000 in lease cash.
For example, in Los Angeles, the best lease deal for the Lexus RZ is now $599 per month with $4,999 due at signing, which is nearly $200 less than previous prices.
It's worth noting that Lexus is also offering a $7,500 lease incentive for residents in states outside of the aforementioned list. However, the automaker reportedly hasn't taken full advantage of the EV tax credit loophole, which allows automakers to pass commercial tax credits onto leases.
Additionally, Hyundai car owners now have the opportunity to save significantly. With the Valued Owner Coupon, eligible household members can enjoy a cash-back offer of $2,500. This exclusive deal can be combined with other incentives, allowing potential savings of up to $10,000 on the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models.
