Rivian Software Update version 2023.38.0, currently making its way to customers, introduces several notable upgrades. The most noticeable change is the complete redesign of the drive mode screen, featuring a cleaner layout and more comprehensive information. Owners now have access to real-time high-voltage battery temperature data, individual temperature readouts for each drive motor, a compass, elevation tracking, tire pressure information, and two resettable trip gauges—all neatly organized on the right side of the screen.

On the left side of the screen, drivers can adjust drive modes, ride height, regenerative braking strength, stability control, and suspension stiffness. Additionally, a new feature allows owners to create up to three different trailer profiles, a boon for those who frequently tow. R1T owners also benefit from a new rear-facing camera view, enhancing visibility when towing.
