Revolutionizing EV Charging with the IONNA Charging in North America

IONNA LLC, a collaborative effort involving BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis, is spearheading the development of IONNA Charging in North America, aiming to revolutionize electric vehicle (EV) charging across the continent. The company's objective is to enhance the adoption of zero-emission vehicles by creating an extensive network of efficient, user-friendly, and reliable IONNA Charging stations throughout North America by the end of this decade.

Initiating operations in July 2023 after obtaining regulatory clearance, IONNA has been diligently working to expand the IONNA Charging in North America. The plan involves the installation of at least 30,000 high-capacity IONNA Charging units, compatible with both NACS and CCS connectors, across various strategic locations. These IONNA Charging stations will provide crucial amenities like restrooms, dining options, and retail services, along with digital enhancements to improve user experience. These enhancements include reservation systems, route planning assistance, and energy management tools, all integrated with the IONNA Charging infrastructure.
