It’s Official! Audi Q4 and Q4 Sportback e-tron Earn Top Safety Pick+ Award!
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) declared that the Audi Q4 e-tron and Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron are the 2022 TOP SAFETY PICK+ recipients in the electric midsize lux\ury SUV group. These two models are the latest introductions to Audi's e-tron portfolio, making them the carmaker with the most fully electric cars.
A vehicle must get high scores in six different IIHS crash tests, including the driver-side small overlap front, the passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests. Moreover, it must come with a front crash prevention system with advanced or superior ratings in both vehicle-to-vehicle and daytime vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluations. Finally, to be awarded a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating, it must have good or acceptable headlights as a standard feature on all trims.
Audi's Q4 e-tron models are a convenient, upscale option to join their range of electric vehicles. The exterior has a bold and muscular look with daytime running lights that can be set to one of four options. The interior is roomy, with sufficient legroom for both adults and child seats. It has five seats and is structured for versatility and practicality, including a specialized holder in the door panels for water bottles. The cargo space is similar in size to the popular Audi Q5.
Standard safety features come as part of the package, like Audi pre sense, Audi side assist with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. These systems, along with a dependable battery, offer drivers peace of mind.
The Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron have now been added to the Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback which have already earned a 2022 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating.
