Mercedes launched its first all-electric SUV, the EQS 680, which is based on the EQS SUV technology from Mercedes-EQ. It combines technical excellence with Maybach's exclusivity. The car has a unique exterior with an upright Mercedes star on the hood, black panel front, and the distinctive Maybach radiator grille.

Maybach has given the EQS SUV a unique touch with exclusive elements that enhance its design. The Mercedes star on the hood signifies its status, while the black panel with chrome-plated vertical trim strips creates a three-dimensional effect. The Maybach lettering is subtly incorporated into a chrome-plated decorative strip that forms a seamless unit with the DIGITAL LIGHT headlights. DIGITAL LIGHT also treats the driver to a special light show when welcoming and bidding farewell.

The Maybach EQS SUV has unique features including chrome surrounds on the side windows and a chrome-plated B-pillar trim. The D-pillar has the Maybach emblem and the EQS lettering is subtly integrated into the front window triangle. The SUV has pronounced wheel arches with claddings in high-gloss black and exclusive 21-inch alloy and forged wheels with MAYBACH lettering on the hub caps. The running boards have an illuminated Maybach emblem. 22-inch wheels will soon be available after the U.S. market introduction.

The three displays of the EQS SUV by Mercedes-EQ have the same functionality and structure as discussed. These displays can be customized with three display styles and three modes. The understated style minimizes the content and matches it with the ambient lighting color for a harmonious look.

Backseat passengers have access to entertainment and comfort features, including two 11.6-inch displays on the front seat backs. MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment allows users to share content and adjust navigation. Standard equipment includes an MBUX rear tablet for use outside the vehicle and MBUX Interior Assist, which recognizes passenger requests and carries out functions like turning on reading lights based on hand and body movements.

2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV offers an exceptional sound experience with the standard Burmester 4D Surround Sound System. It includes 15 speakers and features Dolby Atmos technology, which creates a three-dimensional sound field and adapts to any playback environment. Passengers can listen to their music with clarity and depth, and the listening experience is enhanced with structure-borne noise in the seats. Both front and back seat passengers can use 4D audio with headphones in a vehicle, and the audio can be personalized for each user profile in MBUX.

The driving comfort of the Maybach EQS SUV is held to the highest standards, with the AIRMATIC Air Suspension featuring continuously adjustable damping ADS+ as a standard feature. The vehicle level can be raised by up to 1.4 inches to increase ground clearance. The car includes various driving programs, such as ECO, SPORT, OFFROAD, and INDIVIDUAL, as well as a unique MAYBACH program designed specifically for maximum comfort for rear passengers. The MAYBACH program minimizes body movements under the rear seats, thanks to the inclusion of an oscillation node that reduces amplitudes to their lowest levels. This driving program is the default setting.

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV comes with a 4MATIC all-wheel drive as a standard feature and can travel up to 373 miles with an output of 650 hp.
