Tesla Cybertruck Bulletproof “Beast mode” Option Details: Weight and Features!
During a recent interview with Joe Rogan, Elon Musk provided additional information about Tesla's forthcoming Cybertruck. The Tesla CEO disclosed that the electric pickup truck will weigh between 6,000 to 7,000 pounds, depending on the chosen version. This weight is typical for electric vehicles (EVs) due to the heavy batteries they require. Musk's specifications for the Cybertruck align with the standard weight range for EV pickup trucks. To provide context, the Ford Lightning weighs over 6,000 pounds, and the Rivian R1T exceeds 8,000 pounds, as indicated in their respective owner's manuals.
Musk also mentioned the possibility of a "beast mode version" of the Cybertruck, without specifying its features. In a previous tweet, Musk referred to a "performance Cybertruck" that is highly impressive. Furthermore, the Tesla CEO reiterated that the Cybertruck will include bulletproof steel panels, with an option to purchase bulletproof glass. However, he acknowledged that the bulletproof glass would not have the typical roll-down functionality due to its thickness.
During the interview, Joe Rogan conducted a test by shooting an arrow at the Cybertruck's stainless steel body, which resulted in a partial breakage of the arrow and a small dent on the vehicle's side. Musk stated that there will be three demonstrations to demonstrate the Cybertruck's bulletproof capabilities, including testing it with firearms.
Elon Musk expressed his hope that the "Beast Mode" version of the EV pickup would achieve a zero-to-60 miles per hour acceleration in under 3 seconds. Joe Rogan praised the unique appearance of the Cybertruck, calling it the "coolest looking production car ever made."
Tesla has announced a delivery event for the Cybertruck on November 30, but Musk cautioned that scaling up production for this innovative vehicle would be challenging, emphasizing the need for a radical and unique approach in its manufacturing process.
