Nissan Ariya earns prestigious ‘Electric Vehicle of Texas’ award at 2023 Auto Roundup
At the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Auto Roundup, the 'Electric Vehicle of Texas' award was bestowed upon the all-electric 2023 Nissan Ariya. This award is the latest in a series of accolades that the vehicle has received.
During the March 27-28 Auto Roundup event in Decatur, Texas, journalists and content creators evaluated vehicles based on exterior, interior, value, performance, and overall personal appeal. They assessed each vehicle within its category and against the entire fleet of vehicles that participated in the event.
The President of TAWA expressed gratitude towards the organizers for choosing Nissan Ariya as the Electric Vehicle of Texas. The car's affordability, performance, spaciousness, and design set it apart from its competitors. The award is one of four title awards presented at the TAWA Auto Roundup, and it's only the second year for the Electric Vehicle of Texas award. TAWA started the Auto Roundup event in 2003 to supplement its annual Truck Rodeo.
The 2023 Nissan Ariya marks Nissan's debut in the all-electric crossover market. The vehicle boasts advanced technology that seamlessly improves the driving experience. The ProPILOT Assist 2.0 driver assistance technology, available on certain trims, is a standout feature. Other noteworthy features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Alexa integration, both standard. The Ariya Venture+ FWD trim offers an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 304 miles, making it an attractive option for a wide range of drivers.
