In April 2024, Kia America recorded its highest monthly sales of electric vehicles (EVs) to date, with a notable contribution from the all-new 2024 Kia EV9. The company reported a remarkable 144-percent year-over-year increase in the sales of its fully electric vehicles, marking a substantial stride in its commitment to sustainable mobility.
The robust sales performance extended beyond electric models, as SUVs comprised 81-percent of Kia’s total U.S. sales in April, the highest monthly mix in the company's history. This included exceptional performances from three of Kia’s utility vehicles - Carnival, Telluride, and Sportage - each of which posted the best April sales figures in their respective histories.
