If you buy or lease a new Hyundai electric car, the cost of charging at Electrify America's fast-charging stations will be covered as a gesture of appreciation. 2024 Hyundai KONA Electric drivers can enjoy free charging throughout the network, up to 250kWh or roughly 1,000 miles of driving.
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 owners are entitled to two years of 30-minute DC fast charging sessions at no extra charge starting from the date of purchase. Therefore, feel free to charge your vehicle and hit the road.
At present, Hyundai is providing a free quick charging package to all three of its battery electric vehicles. This initiative aims to attract potential buyers and also introduce them to the Electrify America charging network, which has around 800 stations. This collaboration between Hyundai and Electrify America is expected to continue in the future and may extend to upcoming models as well. To get started with Electrify America's charging services, you need to first download their app and create an account by following the given instructions. Once your account is created, you can access any of the fast charging stations available across their nationwide network. Keep in mind that charging credits for KONA Electric are valid for up to 3 years, while those for IONIQ 5 are valid for up to 2 years.
