Faraday Future’s FF 91 is Officially in Production!
FFIE.O has announced the initiation of the production of its first luxury electric vehicle, FF 91 Futurist, at its California factory, after experiencing significant delays. In November of last year, the Los Angeles electric-vehicle manufacturer had raised concerns about its ability to survive as a "going concern" and the delivery timelines for FF 91, following a governance dispute with its largest shareholder, which resulted in a board reshuffle.
From the beginning, the Company has strived to introduce a product to the market that would revolutionize the conventional automotive industry by reimagining the concept of mobility. The FF 91 Futurist is equipped with an exceptional 1,050 horsepower, and it has been certified by the EPA to have a range of 381 miles. This car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.27 seconds. It has a smart rear internet system that is exclusive to this car, and it offers a new user experience that is designed to create a luxurious mobile lifestyle. This car is built to be a part of a user mobility ecosystem platform, which is the third internet living space.
YT Jia, the founder of FF, stated that the company has entered a new phase with the introduction of a new board and management. FF plans to sell the FF 91 Futurist in the U.S. and China markets, starting with initial sales in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Shanghai, and Beijing.
According to the company, their newest car model has superior acceleration and a longer driving range compared to competitors like Tesla's Model X.
