Polestar 4: The Exciting Debut at Shanghai Auto Show!
Polestar has announced that it will unveil its upcoming vehicle, Polestar 4, at the 2023 Shanghai auto show, which will take place on 18 April.
Polestar has added a new car to its collection, which combines the features of an SUV and a coupé, and has adapted it for the electric era. The Polestar 4 model incorporates modern technology and provides the spaciousness of an SUV while also boasting the aerodynamic qualities of a coupé.
The design elements and eco-friendly improvements that were first presented in Polestar's prototype vehicles will be featured in the upcoming Polestar 4, which is an electric SUV coupé. Furthermore, the Polestar 4 will be the quickest Polestar production car ever produced.
According to Polestar CEO, Thomas Ingenlath, the Polestar 4 is not just a modified version of their first SUV; instead, they have completely redesigned it to create a new type of SUV coupé.
As part of their announcement, the Swedish brand has unveiled a teaser image of the front end of the Polestar 4. The image shows that the vehicle has headlights similar to the Polestar 3 and sharp creases on each side of the hood. The Polestar 4 will be showcased alongside the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 at the Shanghai auto show.
Polestar has set high goals for their SUVs, aiming to produce over 160,000 SUVs annually by 2025, with most of the sales expected to come from the United States. The company has projected the sale of 43,000 units globally for the Polestar 4 in 2024, followed by 79,000 units in 2025.
This vehicle's size and price will also make it a competitor to the Tesla Model Y, and it is expected to become Polestar's top-selling model by the middle of the decade, eventually surpassing the Polestar 2. The Polestar 4 is scheduled to begin production in China by the end of 2023.
