This fully electric SUV concept was recently unveiled at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, highlighting the brand's commitment to combining rugged off-road capability with advanced electric technology. The Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept is Jeep's first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV), set to launch initially in North America and subsequently in other global markets. Scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canada in the second half of 2024, this concept enhances Jeep's traditional focus on performance, freedom, and adventure by providing unprecedented 4xe capability and instantaneous torque.
Built for off-road readiness, the electric Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept features the Selec-Terrain system with modes for Auto, Sand, Snow, Eco, and Sport. This system is enhanced with a Rock mode and a driver-selectable electronic rear axle locker, complemented by rugged 31.5-inch all-terrain tires.
Combining off-road capability with high-speed performance, the electric Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept boasts a lifted suspension and an aggressive front and rear design. Key elements include heavy-duty tow hooks and functional air extractors, with the iconic Jeep seven-slot illuminated grille featuring textured slots and Storm Gray metallic accents.
Designed for tough adventures, the electric Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept's exterior features an anti-glare hood decal, flush badging, front and rear orange tow hooks, unique 18-inch multi-piece wheels, a laser-cut aluminum roof rack, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. These elements are carefully crafted to enhance the vehicle's rugged appeal.
Inside, the vehicle continues its adventure-ready design with soft surfaces wrapped in Mantis Green non-leather synthetic material and meteorite-inspired real stone veneer accents. The interior includes Storm dark metallic accents and Radical Red anodizing, emphasizing the vehicle's capability features.
The redesigned octagonal steering wheel in the electric Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept provides precise control with tactical-inspired grips and a rounded profile for hand-over-hand maneuvering. The instrument panel features a functional cross-car grab bar with embedded fasteners and threaded inserts for mounting gear and accessories.
Maintaining a balance of sport and luxury, the front seats of the Wagoneer S are heated and ventilated, wrapped in Mantis Green, and feature a unique chevron perforation pattern. The center console includes a modular cargo management system, a large open storage bin with a wireless phone charger, and multiple USB outlets.
