Mazda North American Operations has revealed that the 2023 Mazda MX-30 EV will be available at California dealerships this spring.
The electric crossover embodies Mazda's core values of engaging driving dynamics and unique design, allowing owners to form an emotional connection with the vehicle. With Mazda's e-Skyactiv technology and a 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the MX-30 adds driving pleasure to everyday commutes. The car is perfect for most urban residents, with an EPA estimated range of 100 miles on a full charge. The MX-30's contemporary styling remains undeniably Mazda, with innovative features such as freestyle doors and a floating center console that express the car's openness. The interior design includes cork, which not only adds warmth but also pays tribute to Mazda's origins as a cork manufacturer.
The 2023 Mazda MX-30 EV is a well-equipped electric vehicle crossover, with standard features that provide comfort and peace of mind to drivers and passengers. Its 8.8-inch center display has the latest Mazda Connect system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Safety features include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Smart Brake Support, Rear Direction Base Safety, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, and High Beam Control.
The MX-30 car model offers various standard features that drivers and passengers will love, such as heated front seats, leatherette seats with gray fabric, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and power-folding door mirrors. The car also has a seven-inch digital gauge display, power moonroof, eight-way power driver seat with lumbar support and memory, rearview camera with parking sensors, 18-inch silver finish aluminum alloy wheels, and a glossy black front grille. The MX-30 is available in single-tone exterior paint options such as Jet Black, Ceramic Metallic, or Polymetal Gray.
The 2023 Mazda MX-30 EV has a Premium Plus package that includes a Bose 12-speaker premium audio, heated steering wheel, 360° View Monitor with front parking sensors, Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, and a three-month trial of SiriusXM satellite radio. This package also adds i-Activsense safety features like Blind Spot Assist and Front Cross Traffic Alert. Blind Spot Assist provides steering assist to keep the vehicle in its lane when the driver tries to change lanes with another vehicle in the blind spot. At speeds below 6 mph, Front Cross Traffic Alert warns the driver with an audible and visual alert when the front sensors detect vehicles approaching from the front left or right side of the vehicle at speeds above 3 mph.
The MX-30 comes with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels that have a bright silver finish. The car has leatherette seats available in Pure White with gray fabric or Vintage Brown with black fabric. Both options use fabric made from 20% recycled threads. The car comes in Jet Black as standard or you can choose the premium paint options of Machine Gray Metallic or multi-tone Ceramic Metallic.
