Driving into the Future: Discover the Latest Upgrade on the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq!
For the 2024 model year, most of the new equipment is either standard or optional on the Luxury and Sport trims. The two variants of 2024 Cadillac Lyriq now come with a sideways-scanning intersection collision avoidance system with automatic emergency braking as standard, which is also available on the Tech, along with adaptive headlights. The Tech and Sport trims also offer new 20- and 22-inch wheel designs.
Lyriq now offers a panoramic moonroof for all models, but Luxury and Sport trims can choose a power-opening version. Customers can also get a black-painted roof with any body color. Five new exterior colors are available: Argent Silver Metallic, Celestial Metallic, Emerald Lake Metallic, Nimbus Metallic, and Red Radiant Tintcoat. Luxury and Sport trims now have an optional Nappa Leather Package, tri-zone automatic climate control, and heated rear outboard seats. Customers can choose an available security system for these trims.
Cadillac's 2024 Lyriq has rear- and all-wheel drive options available at all trim levels. The estimated range for RWD is 308 miles and 307 miles for AWD. The Lyriq can add up to 77 miles of charge in just 10 minutes on a public DC fast charger. RWD models have 340 horsepower, while AWD models have two electric motors with a total of 500 hp. The vehicle has a standard 102-kWh battery pack and can charge up to 51 miles per hour with a Level 2 charger that can accept 19.2 kilowatt-hours.
The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq's Tech and Luxury trim levels come with advanced safety features like forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and blind spot collision assistance. The Tech trim level also includes rear parking sensors with automatic braking and a panoramic roof panel. The Luxury trim level offers additional features such as vented front seats, heated rear seats, and adaptive cruise control. Optional upgrades include Nappa leather, a 19-speaker stereo, Cadillac’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous hands-free driving system, a hands-free rear hatch, and active noise cancellation. The Sport trim level has similar features to the Luxury trim but with dark chrome accents, a unique grille, and body-color door handles.
The 2024 Lyriq is available for purchase now and will be delivered later this year. You may qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit upon purchase. The Tech, Luxury, and Sport trims are priced at $58,590, $62,690, and $63,190, respectively. Adding optional AWD costs an extra $3,500. Compact electric SUVs around $60,000 are in high demand. The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e is AWD-only and starts at $59,650, respectively.
