Discover the All-New Acura ZDX with Google Built-In as Standard
Acura is set to launch its first ever electric vehicle, the 2024 Acura ZDX, in early 2024. This latest model will come equipped with Google integration, providing drivers with effortless access to a range of apps such as Google Assistant and Google Maps, as well as other useful features on Google Play. This will create a personalized and well-connected driving experience that is available across all ZDX trims.
Google Maps now has an updated version that helps electric vehicle (EV) users, specifically Acura ZDX drivers. This version provides a route that optimizes charging stations to minimize travel time. It can also predict the charging time needed to reach the destination and activate the battery preconditioning feature when the destination is a DC Fast charging station. The battery preconditioning feature can reduce charging times, enabling customers to resume their journey quickly.
Google Assistant allows users to multitask safely on the road without taking their eyes off the road or their hands off the wheel. By using voice commands, users can make calls or send text messages, set reminders, adjust the temperature, and navigate to their next destination. With Google Maps, users can set their destination by voice and see the map on the instrument cluster. Media can also be controlled using voice commands, such as skipping to the next track or rewinding a podcast through the driver's favorite media apps. Users can download various third-party apps for music, podcasts, and audiobooks via Google Play, just like they would on their smartphone.
The 2024 Acura ZDX boasts a high-tech cabin that features embedded Google apps and other intuitive technologies as standard equipment. These include a digital driver instrumentation display, a large center touchscreen that's compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM3, and Acura's first pocket type wireless smartphone charger. Additionally, the vehicle will receive fast and secure Over the Air (OTA) software updates to improve functionality and capability.
