Experience the Thrill of Jeep’s All-Electric Recon Moab 4xe Concept!
Jeep is getting ready to introduce a range of new electric vehicles in the United States, such as the 2024 Recon 4xe and 2024 Wagoneer S, in the coming years. The brand showcased its electric vehicle prototypes for the first time at a dealer conference.
Jeep, which is now part of Stellantis, has set a target of achieving 50% of its sales in the United States through all-electric vehicles by 2030, as it plans to become the leading manufacturer of zero-emission SUVs. The company's Dare Forward 2030 strategy emphasizes four core values - freedom, adventure, authenticity, and passion - which it plans to carry forward into the EV era.
Jeep's iconic 4x4 technology is being adapted for the electric future with the 4xe, which features superior on-demand torque for quick acceleration and hill climbing. The 2024 Recon 4xe, inspired by the legendary Wrangler name, is the first Jeep EV set to be launched in North America, and it was showcased at an event held by the company at the MGM in Las Vegas.
Jeep has declared that its Recon 4xe model will provide all the features of the 4×4 lineup with zero emissions and greater power and capability. The model includes features such as off-road tires, traction management, tow hooks, and removable doors/windows for an open-air feel, as is already customary with Jeep. The Recon Moab will probably be the top trim option, according to the badge on the concept. The head of Jeep North America claims that the all-new, all-electric Jeep Recon is capable of crossing the difficult Rubicon Trail and returning to town with enough range to recharge.
Jeep plans to begin manufacturing the Recon electric vehicle in 2024 and the first models will be available the following year.
