The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is back with minor modifications. The prices of Hyundai have slightly gone up in comparison to the prices of the 2022 models. The base 2023 Ioniq 5 SE (Standard Range battery) has an MSRP of $41,450 ($1,750 more than the 2022 model). The SEL trim has risen by $1,550, while the Limited trim has an increased cost of $2,000.
Prices of all trims and versions have increased. RWD to AWD has increased by $3,500-$3,900, and a bigger battery by $4,050. The destination charge has also gone up by $110. Worst of all, the $7,500 tax credit is no longer applicable, making the entry-level cost $42,785 instead of $33,425.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has the same specs as the 2022 model, with the exception of AWD versions, which are now rated at 266 miles compared to 256 miles previously. This update increases efficiency, though the 2023 model year is yet to be listed on the EPA website.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5's towing capacity has been increased for all editions equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery, going up to 2,300 lbs (1,043 kg) from the original 1,650 lbs.
